2022 Schedule of Events

Jazz for Justice Opens 1:00 p.m.

Jazz for Justice opens to public, with access to Gallery Nights and activities hosted by Pensacola Mess Hall.

9th Ave Brass Band 1:30 pm

9th Avenue Brass is a New Orleans second line style brass band based in Pensacola, FL.

VIP Reception Opens 2:00 p.m.

Sponsors and VIP guests will be able to access this reserved space. This is the only ticketed area of the event and includes access to food and beverages in the Voices of Pensacola just adjacent to Museum Plaza.

Tuba Skinny 2:30 p.m.

Formed in 2009, Tuba Skinny has steadily evolved from a loose collection of street musicians into a solid ensemble dedicated to bringing the traditional New Orleans sound to audiences around the world.

Pensacola MESS Hall Activity 4:15 p.m.

The Pensacola MESS Hall aspires to attract and create a community of critical and creative thinkers of all ages who are inspired by and understand the basic principles of science.

The Soul Rebels 4:30 p.m.

The Soul Rebels started with an idea – to expand upon the pop music they loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. They took that tradition and blended funk and soul with elements of hip hop, jazz and rock all within a brass band context. The band has built a career around an eclectic live show that harnesses the power of horns and drums in a deep pocket funk party-like atmosphere.
